Choosing of my book

As I am undecided about the book i want to do for my book cover, i have collected different covers and other books by the same author to give a feel of what i could explore in the making of my cover.

The books i have choose to look at are completely different. Lolita is a fiction, Oliver Sacks are non fiction books about psychology and the jungle book is a children's classic.

Moodboards

After looking at a variety of book covers for each of my books I have decided to use The jungle book because i thought could look at a collection of things and experiment using different techniques.

Type activity

For this activity we got given a list of different types of effects which can be used. These are negative, break, script, scrawel, illustrated, distort and warp. We had to apply this effect to the word.
